I confirmed that my CPU usage was cut in half, but deleting files is wrong. I was again excited, because the Windows update did what they had promised in late December (it made DAW and Plugin software use less CPU, apparently with higher quality audio processing as well). I had installed VoiceMeeter Banana as well, but I don't think that had any effect on the new crashing probem.Īdditionally, after a Windows 10 update, all of my REAPER Projects (from early January and earlier) were deleted and all of my saved FX chains were also deleted from my computer (and even the backed up files were deleted, by Windows update). and record it, and send it to OBS as a separate channel as well. I was excited because Synchronous Audio Router claims to support ASIO4ALL drivers, in a way that allows me to send the audio from a web browser (which has no ASIO support) to REAPER, as a separate channel. I guess that I'll have to use VoiceMeeter Banana. Or, a work around to allow me to fix the Synchronous Audo Router would be a better. After I installed and set up Synchronous Audio Router, now REAPER crashes when I open preferences (so I need to figure out how to change the audio driver with the config files).
